Description of problem: The installation of Cinnamon in CentOS 7.4 fails due to missing package mint-y-theme. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: The issue had been confirmed in the CentOS Forum: https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=65719 Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install cinnamon 2. 3. Actual results: Install fails with message required package mint-y-theme not available Expected results: Additional info: Manual installation from the Fedora 26 rpm package ((mint-y-theme-1.2.3-1.fc26 RPM for noarch) solved the issue.
According to the status in Bodhi [1] everything seems to be ok, but I already figured out what went wrong and reported that to Releng on last Friday (see quoted message below).
