Description of problem:
The CDK won't start on a Mac unless Virtual Box is present even though it uses xhyve for virtualization (see attached screenshot)

1. Install CDK using the installer
2. run "minishift start"
3.

The described error

Expected results:
Minishift should simply start using xhyve
