Description of problem: Spec files says: BuildRequires: libnice-devel >= 0.1.3 but when I install that, still ./configure fails with checking for NICE... no configure: error: Need libnice >= 0.1.8 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): farstream02-0.2.7-7.fc29
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle. Changing version to '29'.
Confirmed, this is obviously a change in farstream02 0.2.6: $ cat farstream-0.2.8/NEWS ... farstream 0.2.6 (October 9, 2014) ================================ - Add ICE-TCP support - Now require libnice 0.1.8 ... $ fgrep NICE_REQUIRED farstream-0.2.8/configure.ac NICE_REQUIRED=0.1.8 nice >= $NICE_REQUIRED,, AC_MSG_ERROR([Need libnice >= $NICE_REQUIRED])) IMHO a minor issue though, as no user in his right mind set would use something as obsolete as libnice-0.1.8...
