Description of problem: Remmina icon is missing from GNOME activities Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Remmina 1.2.0-rcgit27 GNOME 3.26.2 How reproducible: only just noticed after updating Fedora and rebooting Steps to Reproduce: 1. Search for Remmina in activities pane 2. manually scan activities pane for Remmina 3. realise you can't find it 4. double check it's actually installed, try launching from GNOME software after determining it is. Actual results: No icon Expected results: Icon Additional info: when launching from command line the following error is displayed: "StatusNotifier/Appindicator support: not supported by desktop. libappindicator will try to fallback to GtkStatusIcon/xembed" When launching from GNOME software, and checking 'journalctl -xe' you find the following log entry: gnome-software[2016]: failed to call gs_plugin_launch on packagekit: no such desktop file: org.remmina.Remmina.desktop gnome-software[2016]: not handling error not-supported for action launch: no such desktop file: org.remmina.Remmina.desktop
This is resolved by the latest remmina updates in updates-testing as per: https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/issues/1534#issuecomment-375678730 Thanks
