Description of problem: In the libtirpc-1.0.3 the clnt_create() interface was change to not used reserve ports. The bindresvport() call was removed from the clnt_create() path. This breaks backwards compatibility with the RPC that was in glibc and in turn will likely break a number of legacy apps (like NIS, see bug 1560736) The bindresvport() needs to be put back into the clnt_create call, basically reverting the upstream commit 46e04a735 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libtirpc-1.0.3 How reproducible: 100%
