Description Steffen Froemer 2018-04-05 06:27:55 UTC
Description of problem:
Using "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 KVM Guest Image", the rhsmcertd.service is disabled by default. Doing a successful registration, client will get a valid subscription. The entitlement certificate will not be updated, when it is expired.
Things are more worse, when using VDC subscription is Satellite. The temporary subscription will never updated.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Deploy a client with disabled
2. Register the system with Satellite and use VDC subscription
3. wait appropriate time

Actual results:
The rhsmcertd.service is not enabled or started after successful registration

Expected results:
If registration with subscription-manager is successful, the rhsmcertd.service should be enabled and started. If the system is unregistered successfully, the service can be stopped and disabled.
