Description of problem: At the completion of installation, I noticed my "Wheel Mouse (USB)" and ethernet card are not responding. During the bootstrap, I noticed a Failure message for my ethernet connection. The error message stated that it couldn't identify my card. It shows eth0 as "3c501", we selected "Intel EtherExpress/1000 gigabit". I went to Red Hat Support website and downloaded the following driver (Intel_LAN_70_RHLinux_RPM_RHES2.1_07.tar.gz). I installed and executed this driver. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Network: Intel PRO Family of Adapters, Driver, Enterprise Linux, English, Multi System, v7.0, A01 How reproducible: Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS - Version3 (for the x86 architecture) on a Dell Precision WorkStation 670. I selected the "Intel EtherExpress/1000 gigabit" option. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
