Description Dan Radez 2018-08-23 20:33:58 UTC
It would be useful to support the ability to facilitate or leverage translation or offloading so vxlan tenant networks can be easily connected to baremetal nodes with vlan traffic. What this looks like is an unknown. No support likely exists in ansible networking as there has not yet been a need identified.

Practically speaking this would mean creating a vxlan type neutron network and launching an ironic provisioned baremetal guest that it attaches to that vxlan network. It's possible this would need modifications to neutron to work.
