Description Götz Waschk 2018-09-03 11:43:07 UTC
Created attachment 1480518 [details]
screen shot

Description of problem:
When I try to compare two directories, they are always shown as empty.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.16.4-2.el7

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.mkdir /tmp/foo /tmp/bar
2.echo a > /tmp/foo/a
3.echo b > /tmp/bar/a
4.meld /tmp/foo /tmp/bar

Actual results:
both folders are shown as empty

Expected results:
the files named a should be shown and hilighted as differing.

Additional info:

Comment 1 Dominic Hopf 2022-06-30 07:22:41 UTC
Seems to work in current versions. The issue might be a bit overdue.

Comment 2 Götz Waschk 2022-06-30 07:55:41 UTC
I can still reproduce this with the steps above in meld 3.16.4-2.el7.

Comment 3 Troy Dawson 2024-07-09 02:33:26 UTC
EPEL 7 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-06-30.\n\nEPEL 7 is no longer maintained, which means that it\nwill not receive any further security or bug fix updates.\n As a result we are closing this bug.
