Description of problem: In qt creator the tool buttons in debug view have disappeared. If i remove all configuration files under ~/.config and ~/.cache that are related to Qt then debug view is normal again, until next time I run qt creator, then they are gone again. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Qt Creator 4.6.0 on Fedora 28 all packages are up to date as of 25 sep 2018. How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Remove qt config and cache files under ~/.config and ~/.cache 2. Run Qt Creator, select debug view, exit Qt Creator 3. Start Qt Creator, select debug view, toolbuttons are missing Actual results: Toolbuttons missing. Debug view is some times also not showing correctly (it is the same as edit view) and needs to be restored to default. Expected results: Debug view should retain the layout or it should be possible to restore default layout. Additional info: Restore default does not restore the buttons.
I tried again to delete the config files related to qtcreator, and this time they stayed where they should be. Also updated to Fedora 29 and it works as expected here too.
