Please change in 

/etc/X11/applnk/Applications/gphoto.desktop

the wrong line 

Exec=/usr/bin/gphoto %f

into

Exec=/usr/bin/gphoto

Otherwise gphoto could not be started from the gnome menus.

Hi Till,

i have already fixed this problem. please get gphoto-0.4.3-8
from the current rawhide.
