Description Matthew Sitton 2018-11-21 01:24:28 UTC
Description of problem:
The current version of lightdm 1.25 is out of date. with 1.25.1 including an important bugfix for me: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lightdm/+bug/1739787

The latest version is 1.2, though i'd imaging 1.28 is the latest release:
https://github.com/CanonicalLtd/lightdm/releases

Comment 1 Matthew Sitton 2018-11-21 01:25:39 UTC
Totally fudged that last sentence:

The latest release is 1.28:

Since 1.26 is the LTS release, may be wise to rebase to that instead.

Comment 3 Matthew Sitton 2018-11-21 17:57:07 UTC
That is acceptable for me, i just need the bug-fixes included. Though how that list post said it sounds like pulling 1.26 from the latest work in the git branch which includes other backported bugfixes could be a good idea even though they haven't tagged any more releases for the branch: https://github.com/CanonicalLtd/lightdm/commits/lightdm-1-26

Comment 4 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2022-07-11 15:54:00 UTC
Current version is 1.30 in all branches, closing
