Doesn't compress zero-sized files even with -f

$ touch foo
$ compress -f foo
$ ls -l foo.Z
ls: foo.Z: No such file or directory
$ ls -l foo
0 -rw-r--r-- 1 bnocera bnocera 0 Sep 6 11:31 foo

easy to reproduce and fix. It's already fixed in RHEL>4
