dbginfo.sh fails on a vanilla Fedora 29 installation with dbginfo.sh: Error: tar command is not available! Please install the corresponding package! since the tar package isn't installed by default. The tar package should be part of the base system to ensure dbginfo.sh can be used without further actions required by a user / sysadmin. The requirement wasn't mentioned in the s390-tools' README where all build and runtime requirements are usually listed. A fix for that was pushed upstream just recently with: https://github.com/ibm-s390-tools/s390-tools/commit/63089835b03b322893600d84abe0af4679c144eb Please update the s390utils specfile to fix this issue.
