Description of problem: The sagemath-sagetex package (or any other Fedora 30 package) does not contain the sagetex.py python package, even though the Sagetex TeX files are packaged. Because of this, Sagetex is not usable in Fedora-packaged sage. The python package is a required component. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sagemath-sagetex-8.6-1.fc30.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: $ dnf provides /usr/lib64/python3.7/site-packages/sagetex.py Error: No Matches found Actual results: No Fedora package provides the necessary sagetex.py file. Expected results: The sagetex.py file should be packaged, either in sagemath-sagetex package or separate package. Additional info: sagemath-sagetex package appears to contains the egg-info file /usr/lib64/python3.7/site-packages/sagetex-3.0-py3.7.egg-info but the corresponding package itself is missing.
I can confirm, sagemath-sagetex-8.7-1.fc30.x86_64 is not functioning. Running sage (sagemath-8.7-1.fc30.x86_64) on the generated SAGE script by (the LaTeX package) sagetex pruduces: ``` $ sage example.sagetex.sage /usr/lib64/sagemath/local/bin/sage: line 617: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `)' /usr/lib64/sagemath/local/bin/sage: line 677: syntax error: unexpected end of file ```
