Description David Balažic 2000-08-29 13:04:31 UTC
parted-1.2.8-1 segfaulted an created core file ( see bug 16581 )

The generated core file can not be loaded into gdb ( version 5.0-7 ) !
It says :
/usr/share/doc/parted-1.2.8/core : not in executable format : file format
not recognized

the 'file' util says that it is an ELF core file.
