Current TurboGears in Fedora 30 has lots of problems and I think is useless. Please, update to 2.4.0, which should fix these problems. If you need, I can try it's compatibility, but according to documentation it should be compatible. Problems with 2.3.12: 06:04:53,235 ERROR [gearbox] (WebOb 1.8.5 (/usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages), Requirement.parse('WebOb<1.8.0,>=1.2'), {'TurboGears2'}) Same problem with current WebTest. There are some problems with python3-transaction-2.4.0, which need to be downgraded to 2.3.0. Please, if you have no time and need any help, let me know.
Hi To be honest I have little time and interest in TurboGears2 currently. I mostly maintain this package because the following application is using TG2 (https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/). If you want to spend a little bit of time to fix it in F30 that would be great :-)
Hello Clement, I already built and tested 2.4 version in my repository. Builds cleanly and works well. I can build it for F30 too. Can I ask to be a member of co-maintainer for TurboGears2? As an proven-packager I have access, but I don't want to use this access if it's not required.
