Description Pieter Krul 2000-08-31 20:59:20 UTC
The devicefile /dev/scd3 is not included in dev-2.7.18-3 for RH6.2/sparc:

$ rpm -qil dev | grep scd
/dev/scd0
/dev/scd1
/dev/scd2
/dev/scd4
/dev/scd5
/dev/scd6
/dev/scd7

Workaround:
# mknod /dev/scd3 b 11 3
# chmod 664 /dev/scd3

Regards,

Pieter

It's in the current dev package in pinstripe and later.
