1. does it work with 2.0.0-3.2 update for FC4
2. if not, are you using gnome or kde, and what theme ?

I've not yet had chance to upgrade (yum is not showing an update available yet)

I'm using kde with the default theme.
This made me think so I checked some other settings. It appears that this
behaviour is linked to the window focus policy. If I have "Focus Strictly Under
Mouse" the menus do not stay managed, if I change it to "Focus Under Mouse" they
work properly!
