Description of problem: Before the upgrade to mutt-1.12.0-1, sending gpg signed mails worked as expected. mutt asked for the passphrase and gpg was called to sign the mail. After the upgrade, mutt doesn't aks for the passphrase anymore, so every try to send a gpg signed mail fails with gpg: signing failed: No passphrase given gpg: signing failed: No passphrase given Press any key to continue... Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.12.0-1 How reproducible: Try to send a mail with gpg signing Expected results: mutt asks for the passphrase and gives it to gpg
This was caused by upstream commit [1]. They assume that GnuPG >= 2.1.0 is used. We currently use GnuPG < 2.1.0 and it doesn't spawn passphrase agent automatically. --- [1] https://gitlab.com/muttmua/mutt/commit/c764b995cf31f636466ddbdda97b491d7204f461
