Scan a document with diverse colors into <filename> 2. lpr -p <printername> -o gamma=1000 <filename> 3. lpr -p <printername> -o gamma=1 <filename> and you won't see any difference between print 2 and print 3. Fedora Core 3 is now maintained by the Fedora Legacy project for security updates only. If this problem is a security issue, please reopen and reassign to the Fedora Legacy product.
