option gamma with LPR ignored.
Last modified: 2008-08-02 19:40:32 EDT
Description of problem:
Gamma option with the command "lpr -o gamma=nnn" has no effect.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
1. Scan a document with diverse colors into <filename>
2. lpr -p <printername> -o gamma=1000 <filename>
3. lpr -p <printername> -o gamma=1 <filename>
and you won't see any difference between print 2 and print 3.
The printer in question I am using is an hp photosmart 8450
