Description Ville Skyttä 2005-11-29 21:13:48 UTC
Konqueror from kdebase-3.5.0-0.1.rc2 fails to open any https:// sites. Clicking
the openssl test in its crypto config says that libssl could not be loaded.

Comment 1 Than Ngo 2005-11-30 17:53:16 UTC
strange, it's not reproduceable on my machine with
kdelibs/kdebase-3.5.0-0.1.rc2 today!

Comment 2 Ville Skyttä 2005-11-30 18:12:19 UTC
https works only if openssl-devel is installed here, so konq is probably
(again!) looking for the versionless libssl.so :(

Comment 3 Than Ngo 2005-12-01 11:40:01 UTC
this should be fixed in next kdelibs-3.5.0-1. It would be nice if you could
verify it please. Please close this bug if it's fixed. Thanks

Comment 4 Ville Skyttä 2005-12-04 00:11:45 UTC
Not fixed. kdelibs-3.3.0-openssl.patch is outdated, the correct files to look
for would be libssl.so.0.9.8a, libssl.so.6, libcrypto.so.0.9.8a, and libcrypto.so.6.

ping

Comment 6 Than Ngo 2005-12-13 17:36:50 UTC
it's now fixed in kdelibs-3.5.0-2. Many thanks for your report.
