Description Christian Iseli 2005-11-29 22:21:20 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050922 Fedora/1.0.7-1.1.fc4 Firefox/1.0.7

Description of problem:
When trying to play surround 5.1 audio using aplay, I get an error:

aplay -Dsurround51 chan-id.wav

ALSA lib setup.c:549:(add_elem) Cannot obtain info for CTL elem (MIXER,'EMU10K1 PCM Send Volume',0,0,0): No such file or directory
aplay: main:533: audio open error: No such file or directory

Stereo sound works properly.

Tested with latest FC4 update of alsa-lib, and now it works fine.
