Description Falko Pilz 2005-12-06 02:58:58 EST
We use RHEL under VMWare ESX 2.5.2.
If we have some problems that needs the rescue - system, we need to reconfigure
the virtuell maschine so that the other (pcnet) networkinterfacedriver could be
All of our VM's runin with vmlance - interfaces, so it would be a little bit
more VMWare-compatible if you would supply a vlance-module in the Rescue-initrd.

Sorry there was a misstake at my side vlance is the driver for pcnet-module and
we need a vmxnet-module for the so called interface which where at the moment
not supported.

Sorry for confusion.
