Description of problem: From the customer, Operator and Admin prospective, it would difficult to monitor and review mapping in-between OVN Logical and OVS Physical flows in a larger scale environment. OVN logical flow mapping is similar to OVS OpenFlow port mapping and rules. For a small infrastructure (POC/LAB), it is good to consider the existing OVN CLI utilities to review, monitor & trace the logical switch/flows In OpenStack OVN integrated environment the logical information stores in 4 layer. 1. Inside MariaDB "ovs_neutron" database. 2. OVN Logical Switch & Flow Information stores "OVN-North-DB". 3. OVN South Bound DB with Chassis and Port bind details. 4. OVS-DB Configuration with OpenFlow port and vSwitchd with OF rules. Currently, OVN is serving SDN functionality for non-telco customer with standard layer2, layer3 with the various prototype. Referring to product milestone OVN is going to play as a unified SDN solution for Red Hat emerging products to enhance the capabilities and simplify the complexity of existing OpenStack neutron services. ** Referring to current features, pain point, and milestone, it would be good to introduce GUI interface to monitor both OVN functions (NB, SB, BFD, Logical{Network, Flows, Ports}) and OVS connections for Operator and Admin perspective ** Hence I raise this RFE for further review and recommendation.
