Description John Pittman 2019-09-18 14:41:00 UTC
Description of problem:

This is a request to make pvmove automatically atomic unless otherwise specified (maybe w/ something like --noatomic)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

lvm2-2.03.02-6.el8

Additional info:

The --atomic option ensures atomicity, avoiding additional interim states where only a fraction of the segments have been moved. This is helpful when, due to issues, a pvmove gets in a bad state. Using the option helps chances of success of a metadata restore.
