Description of problem:
I am upgraded from F30 to F30 and screen failed to start
$ screen
Cannot make directory '/run/screen': Access denied

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
screen-4.6.2-9.fc31.x86_64

How reproducible:
After upgrade.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade from F30 to F31.
2. run screen

Actual results:
Run failed.

Expected results:
Normal run.

Additional info:
After dnf reinstall screen problem is gone and screen start normal.

Hello,
thanks for your report.

I tried to upgrade f30 to f31, but I didn't reproduce this issue. screen starts normally.
(Upgraded using https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/dnf-system-upgrade/ )

Unless you have some more information, I'll close this bug.

btw. '/run/screen' directory should be created on boot by systemd as specified in /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/screen.conf ; it is created by rpm on installation
