Description of problem: I am working on an upstream project called Keylime that uses tpm2-tools. The project is marked for RHEL9 PRD and we plan to do tech previews or early proof of concepts running on RHEL 8 To this we require tpm2-tools-3.2 and greater. RHEL 8 currently supports tpm2-tools-3.1.1-4.el8.x86_64 This is a request to see if its possible to have tpm2-tools available in RHEL 8 & > (perhaps a later version and then backported). Apologies I am unaware of where to look up the current versions planned for release, so this may already be covered. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): tpm2-tools-3.2.x How reproducible: Easy Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install tpm2-tools 2. Execute command `tpm2_pcrrest` 3. A command not found errer will be returned. Actual results: tpm2_pcrreset -v -bash: tpm2_pcrreset: command not found Expected results: tpm2_pcrreset -v tool="tpm2_pcrreset" version="3.2.0" tctis="dynamic" tcti-default=tabrmd dlclose=enabled Additional info: 3.2.x has been stable in Fedora for sometime, thanks to patches made by fmartine https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/tpm2-tools/c/af88e806f0b7f311a326c18a4bf8
Hi Luke, there is a bz open to update tpm2-tools, and I'm updating to the 3.2.1 release. So I'm going to close this as a dup of bz 1725714. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1725714 ***
