Steps to Reproduce: 1. run sudo dnf install icewm Actual results: dnf install icewm Last metadata expiration check: 0:10:10 ago on Thu 10 Oct 2019 08:24:42 PM CDT. Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides gnome-icon-theme needed by icewm-1.6.1-12.el8.x86_64 - nothing provides libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.0()(64bit) needed by icewm-1.6.1-12.el8.x86_64 (try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages) Expected results: icewm to be installer Additional info:
Yeah, this already reported in upstream icewm github. Many packages still not available for EPEL8. I already fixed and replaced legacy gnome-icon-theme package with Adwaita and will push soon update of IceWM. Then we need to build gdk_pixbuf package for EPEL8...
Sorry didn't look upstream. I did find that after enabling CentOS-PowerTools the gdk_pixbuf part went away.

Was able to get the build installed if I installed the wallpaper package should I expect a wallpaper to show up on the default theme? I only got a black screen. Everything else seemed fine but that was odd.
There two IceWM session should appear if you installed 'icewm-minimal-session' package as well. By default only one, bloatware version with all handy stuff and wallpaper in 4K, which consume 70 Mb RAM BTW. Only if you run icewm-minimal-session then there is no wallpaper and just a black screen. But if wallpaper won't appear in RHEL8/CentOS8 in full IceWM session then this weird and then this a bug. I hope i can test myself it in CentOS 8 soon.
icewm-1.6.2-2.el8 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 8 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
