Description of problem: QGit 2.9 was released on 2019-08-24. Even Rawhide is still stuck on 2.8. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qgit-2.8-* How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. rpm -q qgit Actual results: qgit-2.8-* Expected results: qgit-2.9-* Additional info: As upstream sums it up: > QGit version 2.9 brings a large number of improvements from many contributors: better branch display in context menus, better general display, drag&drop of revisions, better navigation, opening of files from command line, slightly better documentation etc. In particular, it has the --view-file argument that I added so that you can use QGit as a blame viewer (replacement for git gui blame). I would like to see this even as an update to stable releases, but at the very least, Rawhide should be updated.
