(This is possibly a mock bug)
These bugs are being closed since a large number of updates have been released after the FC5 test1 and test2 releases. Kindly update your system by running yum update as root user or try out the third and final test version of FC5 being released in a short while and verify if the bugs are still present on the system .Reopen or file new bug reports as appropriate after confirming the presence of this issue. Thanks
Which GID does the mock group have? Low UIDs and GIDs are filtered if "Preferences->Filter system users and groups" is checked.
mock is not showing up at all with the prefs->filters unchecked.
what gives "grep ^mock: /etc/passwd /etc/shadow /etc/group /etc/gshadow"?
None of them. I have absolutely no idea why though rpm -qa mock is showing it's not installed, but must have been originally for me to report this error! yum -y install mock followed by the command in #5 gives /etc/group:mock:x:104: /etc/group:gshadow:mock:!:: This is really strange. I'll close it for now and test when I get home tonight - if there is still a problem, I'll reopen under a different BZ.
