Description Wolfgang Kulhanek 2019-12-05 21:25:39 UTC
Description of problem:
Install Red Hat Service Mesh Operator (the supported one, not Maistra).

Deploy Service Mesh.

Delete Service Mesh.

Uninstall all Operators (Service Mesh, Jaeger, Kiali, Elasticsearch)

A DaemonSet "istio-node" is left over in project "openshift-operators"

Comment 1 Dan Geoffroy 2019-12-09 16:00:19 UTC
Moving this to 4.4 as this is not critical for 4.3 release and as such should not be considered release blocking. We will continue to discuss and investigate the issue. Adding Kevin from Istio team in case this may be something on that side as well.
