Description of problem: My package yubico-piv-tool requires this one to be built in EPEL8. It builds just fine as it is so the only thing needed is to request a branch, do the build and update. At this moment, I am building it in copr: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jjelen/yubico-piv-tool/builds/
Hi, any update here? I do not mind maintaining the epel8 branch on my own if it would be too much trouble for you.
Mosaab - looks like you built this last in EPEL7 - could you branch and build for EPEL8? Or at least add Jakub to the package (as admin) so he can do it?
I wanted to give Mosaab a chance to respond to this before I stepped on anyone's toes, but I lost track of it. At this point I think we have waited more than long enough. I added you as a committer; feel free to handle EPEL 8's branch. Thanks for stepping up to work on it!
Thank you. I requested the new branch: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/31697
