It also turns off when i log out or play something. I have to play with mixer each time to get sound again. Either pcm turns off, or some of capture options turns on, that's why there's no sound. I can adjust volume with CD player but not with realplayer, xine, mplayer etc. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): alsa-utils-1.0.10-1.FC4 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro 2045 laptop. 2.install fedora 4 and mplayer, xine, realplayer... 3.play something like an mp3 file or mpeg film 4.try adjusting volume while playing Actual Results: no more sound Expected Results: i should still hear sound. Additional info: Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 2045 laptop sound card: hda intel
