Please report only one bug in a single bug report in the future.

Comment 3 Mike A. Harris 2006-02-05 21:52:48 UTC
The X.Org X server supports many various multimedia and Internet keyboards
which have extra keys on them. In order to use these keyboards, you have
to reconfigure your X server to use the proper keyboard map. If you are
unsure of how to do this, the xorg.org mailing list can
assist you in reconfiguring your X server.

If this release of X.Org does not have a keyboard mapping file for your
specific brand/model of keyboard, then it is unsupported in this release.
If that turns out to be the case, please file a bug report as an
enhancement request in X.Org bugzilla at http://bugs.freedesktop.org
requesting that support be added for your particular model of keyboard.
Be sure to specify the proper brand/model in detail when you file the
bug in X.Org bugzilla, and include as much details as possible. It is
also recommended in this case to search via Google to see if anyone else
has created a keyboard mapping file for the keyboard, and if you find one,
to attach it to the X.Org bug report also. That will maximize the chances
of it being supported in a future release, if it isn't already.

Hope this helps.
