Description fedora.dm0 2020-03-22 18:40:53 UTC
This is an enhancement request to add the "smbios" module to the EFI image when GRUB is updated to 2.06. (There will reportedly be a release candidate soon.) It's a new module that allows configuration based on detected system hardware. I'd like to have the module in the image so it is covered by the Secure Boot signature. Feel free to close this bug if this is something I should do on my own instead of carrying it in the distro.

This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Fedora is shipping GRUB 2.06 now, so is this request doable?
