When you get to the X Configuration screen during
an instalation, on the left side help it says something
to the effect that if you want to customize the X configuration,
click the Customize X Configuration button.  But there is no
button on the screen with this label.

Since this button was missing, I was never given the
opportunity to customize the resolution/colors that
the X server would use during the install.

These are turned off in the installation because weird things happen when
testing - use Xconfigurator after installation to customize
