Description Igor Raits 2020-05-05 06:17:20 UTC
Hello,

Your package (gtkdatabox) Fails To Install in Fedora 33:

---
can't install gtkdatabox-glade3-0.9.3.1-3.fc32.x86_64:
  - nothing provides libgladeui-1.so.11()(64bit) needed by gtkdatabox-glade3-0.9.3.1-3.fc32.x86_64
---

According to a policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Fails_to_build_from_source_Fails_to_install/), your package may be orphaned in 8+ weeks if you won't reply to this bug.

Thanks!

I think the package needs to be rebuilt since the libgladeui SONAME changed.

Comment 2 Eric Work 2020-05-07 06:45:24 UTC
Turns out it's no longer possible to build with the new glade3 package (libgladeui-2.0) from rawhide. I removed the glade3 subpackage and removed the configure option. The upstream package hasn't been updated in 1.5 years so this is unlikely to be fixed. The new build is already ready (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=44182075) if you'd like to confirm.

Hello,

Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that this output has mistakes, please contact me via email (ignatenkobrain).

All subpackages of a package agaisnt which this bug was filled are installable now in Fedora 33.

Thanks for taking care of it!
