Description Rohit Rajput 2020-05-21 19:13:22 UTC
Document URL: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.6/html-single/installing_capsule_server/index#ports-and-firewalls-requirements_capsule

Section Number and Name:

Section 1.5. Ports and Firewalls Requirements

Table 1.3. Ports for Client to Capsule Communication

Describe the issue:

Port 8000 is the HTTP port of Capsule not the HTTPS port as on the table.

Suggestions for improvement: It should be HTTP

Additional information: Same port listing in Satellite 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6,7

Comment 2 Sayan Das 2023-01-03 09:40:44 UTC
This looks fixed already in the Capsule Installation docs for version 6.10 and above .

@Rohit perhaps we confirm the closure of this BZ with CURRENTRELEASE selected ??

Comment 3 Rohit Rajput 2023-01-03 21:12:45 UTC
@Sayan, proceeding with the closing of this BZ.
