A number of improvements to the authentication support for oci have landed upstream in 1.8. It came too late for 8.3, and should be well-tested upstream by 8.4.

We should make sure to get latest 1.8.5 in, as it fixes a sandbox escape security issue: https://github.com/flatpak/flatpak/releases/tag/1.8.5 I think it's best to do another rebase here, going from 1.8.2 to 1.8.5 (as opposed to doing downstream patch cherry-picking) as we are rebasing to 1.8.x anyway.
flatpak-1.8.5-1.el8.x86_64 I've done some regression testing for flatpak-auth and run the flatpak related automation for software and portals, some minor auth issues were discovered: bz1896406, bz1918381.
