Description of problem:

In FC4 it was possible to open a gnome-terminal by klicking with the right
mousebutton on the desktop, then selecting the top menu entry "open terminal".
This feature is missing in FC5.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-desktop-2.14.0-1


How reproducible: everytime


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Klick with the rightmost mousebutton in the desktop

Actual results:No menu entry appears for opening a terminal


Expected results: Menu entry for "open terminal"

Hi,

This feature was removed from upstream GNOME. You can get back similiar behavior
by running

yum install nautilus-open-terminal

(or by choosing the nautilus-open-terminal package from Applications ->
Add/Remove Software)
