bea-stax failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f33 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=47931510 For details on the mass rebuild see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_33_Mass_Rebuild Please fix bea-stax at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks, bea-stax will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 34, bea-stax will be retired, if it still fails to build. If you're interested, I "created a new upstream" for this package here (since the old one is deady-dead for 10 years or so): https://github.com/vastatrix/stax I've imported the latest sources from rawhide (upstream sources are completely gone from the internet AFAICT) and ported the project to maven (while hopefully preserving the structure of the produced JARs). It should also compile successfully on Java 11 (fixing this FTBFS issue).
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle. Changing version to 33.
By the way, this package is no longer required in fedora 33+ at all, if I'm reading repoquery output correctly.
This package has changed maintainer in the Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
I have retired the package for fedora 33+ since it was orphaned, failed to build, and was no longer required by any other package.
