Description Fedora Release Engineering 2020-08-03 16:19:37 UTC
dogtag-pki failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f33

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=47941068

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_33_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix dogtag-pki at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
dogtag-pki will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 34,
dogtag-pki will be retired, if it still fails to build.

The issue has been fixed upstream via PR: https://github.com/dogtagpki/pki/pull/399

Note that we deliver the product in 2 different packages:
1. pki-core: Contains the core of the product
2. dogtag-pki: Contains the themes and consoles.

The pki-core was rebased downstream:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pki-core/c/29e9dc66f9579ea93392ec5586a6e42925010dbe?branch=master

dogtag-pki will be rebased during the next "stable" release
of Dogtag PKI.

Setting to POST and assigning to ascheel as he is the original
author of the upstream patch.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 33 development cycle.
Changing version to 33.

Comment 6 Alex Scheel 2020-08-18 18:24:24 UTC
Built for Rawhide:

commit c918703d7a4e09324ba7e776c8df923a5f32624f (HEAD -> master, origin/master, origin/HEAD)
Author: Alexander Scheel <ascheel>
Date: Tue Aug 18 14:15:21 2020 -0400

Revert JDK11 support, rebuild on Rawhide

---

This will be backported to F33 once OpenQA runs on rawhide compose.

Comment 7 Alex Scheel 2020-08-21 17:26:06 UTC
dogtag-pki and pki-core have been rebuilt in F31->F34 and is thus no longer FTBFS.
