Description Bernhard Schuster 2020-08-05 11:10:05 UTC
Description of problem:

Samsung Level Over has an integrated volume control, on the headphones themselves, which was independent of the pavuctrl volume level. It is still independent of that, but whenever I lock the screen or let the speakers go to sleep, the head phone volume internal to the headphone is not restored, but set to max.
Previously (roughly ~3 weeks ago) that was not the case.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
100% / always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pair and connect a Samsung Level Over
2. Play some music and adjust the volume to a lower level on the headphone
3. Lock the screen
4. Wait a few minutes (~5)
5. Unlock the screen
6. Play some music from the same source without touching any loudness knobs

Actual results:
Max volume playback

Expected results:
Same volume as previously

Comment 3 Bernhard Schuster 2020-09-10 14:48:57 UTC
Since at least one week, the issue seems to be resolved, so this was either a different component's issue, or an earlier update (earlier than the one referenced) resolved this.
