Thanks! Installing alsa-driver-1.0.11rc4 did the trick. I only needed to update the kernel drivers, updating usermode stuff wasn't necessary. Now I get to watch/listen the Rangers losing on home ice in glorious MythTV-generated stereo sound... Looking forward to the updated drivers errata.
