Description of problem: After upgrading from kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 my homebanking software Moneyplex 2003(by Matrica) stopped working, it just reclines to start giving a "memory access error". This is exactly the same thing that has happened before with a kernel-upgrade under FC3 and is filed as (closed) bug #162182. The temporary solution to 'echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/exec-shield' works as before. Additional info: SELinux is disabled.
A new kernel update has been released (Version: 2.6.18-1.2200.fc5) based upon a new upstream kernel release. Please retest against this new kernel, as a large number of patches go into each upstream release, possibly including changes that may address this problem.
