Description of problem: When you start the application, the New Document windows is huge (it is extended outside the desktop size). See this screen recording: https://alciregi.fedorapeople.org/webm/scribus.webm Even a double click on the title bar doesn't resize it. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): scribus-1.5.6-0.12.fc33.x86_64
Hello I confirm the bug I have the same like Alessio. Scribus 1.5.6 is not a stable version, I have several bugs in the application. Unusable. Version : scribus-1.5.6-0.12.fc33.src.rpm Thank
I am also seeing this bug on the 1.5.6 version present in Fedora 33, however the 1.5.6.1 version (https://www.scribus.net/scribus-1-5-6-1-released/) present on Flathub does not exhibit this issue. I'm wondering if it's a bug that was fixed between 1.5.6 and 1.5.6.1, or if it's an issue specific the package in Fedora...
I have started a scratch build of 1.5.6.1 for F-33 under https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=57326535, could you give it a try after it finishes?
yes of course no problem thanks to you
