Description of problem: The "AIGLX" extension to "Xorg" leads to a corrupted rendering of the "GNOME" desktop when the "metacity" compositing manager is enabled. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.6.0-1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Switch on "composite" extension in "xorg.xonf". 2. Enable compositing manager in "metacity". Actual results: The screen is all white with drop shadows. The menus become visible on opening. So "gnome-terminal" and other applications when launched from the "GNOME" menu as the attached screenshot shows. Effects do actually work ("fluid"). Expected results: The desktop should be rendered correctly. Additional info: System is FC5 with updated packages "mesa-libGL-6.5-3" and "xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.0.99.901-1" in addition to the also upgraded "radeon" driver package.
