Description of problem: Until now, Fedora images used to fit on 2gb USB sticks. Fedora 33 RC 1.1 says disk image is 39mb bigger than target device Can it be trimmed to fit, please?
Which image? We have a number of them :) Trying to make the image smaller is going to fall under the SIG responsible for the spin kickstart that has grown too big.
Workstation live, sorry
It's become difficult. Lately every cycle we're over 2G and have to find stuff to remove to make up for the fact everything just gets bigger, in particular linux firmware which has had extraordinary growth. For example: Fedora 30 workstation 279M /usr/lib/firmware Fedora 33 workstation 418M /usr/lib/firmware/ In the Fedora 33 cycle, we looked at the installed packages and ended up deciding to raise the image size limit above 2G.
Ok, thanks for considering
