Suggested patch

Description of problem:

There is a problem in FS_METHOD detection in wordpress which prevents enabling file mods. On fedora wp-content directory is read only for wordpress. FS_METHOD detection doesn't work with RO main directory. But if FS_METHOD is set to direct FILE_MODS can be enabled and they work.

I suggest patching default of FS_METHOD to direct to make file mods possible.

Thanks for the report with detailed information.

The patch is not corret, should be "direct", with quote.
